Meditation: Diving Deep into it



People think meditation to be an isolated process, where you have to sit peacefully in a corner with closed eyes! Well, that is somewhat true but not completely true.
Meditation happens only when you stop trying when you don't put any effort to meditate or to be attentive or to be focused or to do anyhting, when the doing ceases and a dedication occurs,you slip into a state of complete silence and as time passes by you start going more deeper and deeper then you don't have to put any effort to stop your thoughts, they stop on their own accord.

So all you need to do is to develope an understanding of dedication and of being relaxed and to leave the world on its own then you enter inside you and then the so called material you gets separated from you, there remains no ego and identification with ego, what remains is a total silence and a complete alertness, passive but still very active, active in a manner that  you watch everything without manipulating anyhitng without reacting to anyhitng and thus you act.

meditation is everywhere it is somewhat similar to the martial art movies that used to say that kung fu is everywhere. you can meditate while talking, while sitting while sleeping while eating or anything that you do in a regular day. it's just that you are lacking the key.

Awareness is the key! be aware of whatsoever is happening around you and stop reacting mechanically. face your problems inspite of doing something to solve them or run away from them just stick with them spend some time with them and then you will really understand what does the sentence mean "the solution lies in the problem itself". Just don't try don't get stuck in trying and putting the effort, instead see theat the mind is putting effort and as soon as you see this struggle the struggle is no more.

Problem is that people are not ready to try but they would keep searching the satisfaction and peace from  alcohol, money and drugs. Temporoary is the feeling that you are rushing for and it will keep destroying you and a stage will come where you would have no way to go back. People does want to taste some freedom, everyone wants to be free from the constant chattering of the conscious mind which leads them to alcohol drugs and LSDs but they don't want to accept that they are always escaping from their problems,it's bitter but it takes a lot of courage to face your problem and to accept that you keep escaping from them. You have to see this you can not just stat away from this always, how could you be so mechanical, atleast give it a try and relax for a few momonts dive in and try to see what's happening see the games of mind, see how it convinces you everytime!

I would really not like to destroy the fun of meditation, but would request  you not to make it a spiritual thing let it be a play, a beautiful experience a process of watching and not concentration or anyththing stupid. Be alert so much so that whenever you react you catch yourself reacting.

See the interference of mind in everything that you do from listening, speaking, writing to watching things see the judgement and comments and they will start disappearing, this is so exciting if you can do this. But at the same time you have to utterly see and you must see that you are not your mind. Just keep searching and searcing and searching and one day when the time comes you would be free, free from the illusion. Real freedom is truly addictive!
